Re: GENERAL: is it ok to ask a doctor for a courtesy letter?

A courtesy letter updates your doctor on what other doctors have been doing. It also opens up the door of communication between the doctors behind the scenes. Many times my doctors have contacted each other to discuss my case and I was not aware of it at first. Don't forget to mention/give a copy to your Dentist (some medications can effect dental surgery, etc.).
