I'm so sorry you were treated badly. You deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, especially when you're feeling vulnerable. Out of curiosity, did you 1. Look at the lab report? 2. Get a full discussion of what you have, where it's located, how extensive it is, how many qudrants are involved, if it's in the endocervical canal, and if there is glandular involvement? 3. Get a thorough explanation of the risks and benefits of all your treatment options before a recommendation was made? If you answer "no", please consider getting a different doctor. If you answer "yes", I'm very grateful you found that doctor. From personal experience, there is nothing more comforting and helpful than a doctor who wants his or her patients to be as educated as possible to make informed decisions. Insofar as pain is concerned, did you talk to the doctor about your pain tolerance and what you need to make it easier for you? If you haven't, please don't hesitate to call your physician and discuss this.
