Re: GYNECOLOGIC: Bicornuate Uterus and metroplasty surgery will it correct the pain? From: Professor Galal Lotfi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Jul 2008 10:13:14 -0500 (CDT)
First of all does he mean by heart shaped uterus a dimple on the top of the uterus or double uterus or bicornuate uterus. All these varieties are seen with hysterography and laparoscopy,. Conventional ultrasound are not accurate for such diagnosis but three dimensional ultrasound could. Anyway. I dont think you doctor was accurate about the diagnosis and about saying that you will have difficulty in getting pregnant. And, Metroplasy is not considered in your case at all unless you have recurrent miscarriage.
