MENORRHAGIA: What effect can going off BC Pills have on your menstral cycleFrom: Kim (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 29 Jul 2008 14:06:01 -0500 (CDT)
I went off Tri Cyclin Lo a couple of months ago and I have had two regular periods (21 day cycles) now I am late. My period should have started on the 25th of July as my LMP was July 4th. My question is this~ could my body be going back to a 28 day cycle and thus I will not start until the 31st or 1st? I have taken three HPT's to determine if pregnanacy is the cause and so far I have had all negatives but I am having extreme PMS symptoms (I am so bloated I look like I could be 6 months pregnant, breast tenderness, nausea and fatique, all of these symptoms are more extreme than usual) I really do not know when or if I ovulated,if I am going to a 28 day cycle then I probably would not test positive for pregnancy until after the 31st. Just really confused as to what is going on! Oh and I am 45 years old and had a child just 2.5 years ago. Thank You Kim
