Re: GYNECOLOGIC: Bicornuate Uterus and metroplasty surgery will it correct the pain? From: T. Lyons MD (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 28 Jul 2008 19:06:25 -0500 (CDT)
Message posted on Dr. Tom Lyons behalf by: Hope Waltman, Fibroid and Women’s Health Forum Moderator Your research is good but I am not sure your work-up is complete and the diagnosis is correct at this time. You need a hysterosalpingogram and hysteroscopy/laparoscopy prior to consideration of surgical alternatives. This should be done by a specialist who is accustomed to treating congenital malformations. Your local gyn is not likely that person. Continue research and get other opinions before you do anything substantial.
