PREGNANCY: pregnancy after the morning after pillFrom: Chris (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 24 Jul 2008 08:22:43 -0500 (CDT)
My husband and I had unprotected sex during my ovulation about three weeks ago. I immediately took the morning after pill the very next day. Well my period was due on Monday and never came, so I took a pregnancy test. I am pregnant. We decided to take the pill because I was on Lexipro, which is a category C. We had sex on Sunday and Monday was the last day I took Lexipro. I then went to Prozac since we wanted to start trying for a second baby. I then stopped taking Prozac as soon as a found out I was pregnant. So, should we be concerned about the baby's health because of the Lexipro and the morning after pill? My husband is very hesitant right now until he hears the heartbeat in a few weeks. I am still in shock that I am pregnant since I was told how effective the morning after pill is.
