am 43 yearsold. I have suffered with pelvic pain for several years. I tried birth control pills, lupron, pain medications, laprooscopyies to control the pain. I have had ovarian cysts and endometrosis in the past. Having felt like I had to done everything my gyn suggested I see a specialist. I did and within 5 mins suggested that I have my uterus removed. It was retroverted and probably causing the pain. I had the surgery 2 years ago and my pain continued. Not the sharp pain from menustration. But the achy, chronic colliky, uncomfortable pain was still here. I have had a colonoscopy, catscan, mri 2 years ago and it showed nothing. I got off the pain meds 2 years ago and have been trying otc treatments. Just recently the pain has gotten worse. My family doctor wants me to have a catscan again. I am tired of all the circles I run in with no answers. Now.. I read all the info on adhesions and my symptoms seem to match. I am very fustrated and I am trying to find a doctor that will help me. I am afraid to see someone that is just going to run me through tests again and surgery that may not be needed. I live in Florida, new port richey area, not far from Tampa, clearwater. Does anyone know of a doctor or has been through this and can understand. Thank you
