Goldfarb behalf by: Hope Waltman, Fibroid and Women’s Health Forum Moderator The only purpose for Lupron in Fibroid use is to help stop prolonged bleeding and allow the body time to regenerate Blood. I will also use lupron to preshrink fibroids prior to Myolysis techniques. Prior to myomectomy I do not see a place for lupron because it shrinks the capsule of the fibroid and makes removal more difficult. Dr. Herbert A.
