CHRONICPAIN: ilioinguinal nerve block shots-- is it ok to stop for a while? From: D (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 31 May 2008 07:47:20 -0500 (CDT)
My obgyn is giving me these nerve block shots (once a week so far it's been twice) and have phyiscal therapy 2 times a week + I do kegels & other pelvic exercises -- last night & today my pevic pain is hightened. They explained that if the nerve is relaxed & I get p.t. so the muscle is relaxed, then my pain will go away quicker, but since I feel really sore, Do people ever get a break or is working through the pain normal. I think the nurse mentioned "rebounding" pain-- What's that? Any thoughts Diane
