GENERAL: Need some help with thisFrom: Amber (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 29 May 2008 07:36:08 -0500 (CDT)
Im 23 years old.Had my first baby on Jan.7th of 2008. HAd to be induced after healthy pregnancy at 41 weeks b/c nothing was progressing.Used gel water broke in labor for 22 hours.Stayed at 2 cm dialated only the whole time.Baby was doing awesome.Eventually they decided c section.Turned out his umblical cord was wrapped around his shoulder and neck so he couldnt move out.Recovered fine from c section.Baby wouldnt eat for first 24 hours, started vomiting black stuff.they took xrays he had a blocked intestine he was born with..he had emergency surgery and was at Childrens Hospital in the NICU for the first month of his life. Now everything is more than great for him. I have recovered fine and everything was going good until about April 1st I started having my regular period just fine. But started bleeding heavily a couple of weeks after my period. It brought pain in my lower abdomen area.Stayed like that for 8 days.Went to my ob-gyn he said its just probably related to stress and no big deal.I couldnt be pregnant or anything he said b/c i had my period.Won't do tests cause i have no insurance at the moment for another 10 days. Well next month it did same thing but is staying around longer.I also have sex with my husband and its great but afterwards I have a lot of pain and uncomfortable feelings in my lower abdomen area.I have also been feeling exhausted all the time.My baby sleeps through the night and doesnt really cry all that much unless hes hungry.Everyone keeps telling me im tired b/c of my baby but I dont think that is it.I used to have energy even when he was in childrens and came home for awhile and now all of a sudden i can sleep and sleep and rest all he time.I have also had lower back pain for about 3 years now and it was diagnosed as a pulled muscle and a back strain once and then it was dianosed as me being overweight. Please just give me some answers or stories or anything as to what may cause this,or any help at all will be appreciated.Thank You
