Laparoscopy to diagnose Endo without the capability of operative excisional surgery is unwarranted. It would set up a second surgery for removal or a referral. I would suggest that you seek consultation with a physician who specializes in endometriosis treatment. Contact the Endometriosis Society for a referral.
