I have missed my period twice now, and I am 32 and have always been consistently regular. I am on birthcontrol pills, but I did miss a couple. After my first missed period I performed multiple HPTs, as time progressed, they all came back negative. I came down with a sinus infection so I went to my Internist, explained I had missed my period, but that HPTs have been negative. She performed a urine test in the office and it was negative also, because I was due to start again in a week she said I probably just missed it because I had been tapering of Lexapro, and that I would probably start, and prescribed an antibiotic. Until then I had been very careful not to drink, but after that I decided she was right, she is my doctor, and I have been drinking again this past week. Well, I should have started Wednesday, and still have not. I'm nervous because this has never happened and I don't know what to think. I have an appointment with a gynocologist, but not until May 6th. Can anyone give me some information to help calm my nerves?
