Sounds like you got hold of an ER doc that doesn't do much
Gynecology. Virtually nothing that he told you is true. I would
recommend that you see a gyn - preferrably a endometriosis/pain
specialist. I would suggest a laparoscopy by a surgeon who is
experienced and good at this type of disease. You should be able to
get excellent relief without losing any of your reproductive
capacities. Good luck with this problem docs who are used to dealing
with endo are hard to find at times.
