CHRONICPAIN: Possible ovarian cyst or IBS - how do I determine which it is?

I have had increasing pain on the left side for a couple of months now. Every couple of weeks it increases in severity. I've had a hysterectomy, but I still have both ovaries. I'm trying to decide if the pain might be the left ovary or something else. It is a burning pain that is mostly felt in the middle of the pelvis, but it does sometimes (especially lately) radiate to the hip bone or down the leg. There is pressure when I sit and my lower abdomen feels like it swells throughout the day. The pain increases with movement, sometimes taking my breath away. I often feel nauseous especially if I eat and even if I eat a very small amount. I have extreme breast tenderness also. There has been no change in bowel habits. The pain does get slightly better with heat and/or pain relievers but never completely goes away. How can I tell if it might be an ovarian cyst versus something like IBS?
