I appreciate the professional opinion on this. A client of mine was diagnosed initially with PCOS. As more lab work was done, it was determined she had a different cause for her PCOS symptoms. She had surgery, and has gone on now to have two children, which is wonderful. It is critically important if there is abnormal/elevated lab tests that appropriate follow up be done. Sometimes this needs to happen within a University Setting. She was referred to OHSU when her tests came back highly abnormal.
