GYNECOLOGIC: Pelvic Prolapse At AGE 26From: bubbley (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 19 Dec 2007 13:49:51 -0600 (CST)
I am 26 years old with pelvic prolapse.Protrusions out of the vagina and rectum. I have never had kids and have been to 5 doctorsa; a gastroenterologist, 2 physicians, a colorectal surgeon, my OBGYN and a pelvic surgeon- I am very uncomfortable wearing a pessary, it feels like it may be pushing against my rectum which does not help matters since i couldnt go to the bathroom well to begin with. The Pelvic surgeon i see has me trying my second pessary, i am not comfortable at all and would like to still have kids in 3 years or so. Im at a loss since this condition usually happens to people who have had kids and/ or are older. Please help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
