hi this is my first time to the forum so i'll give a brief background. i have 2 children ages 4 and 8. i had pregnancy induced hypertension with both pregnancies that required emergency induction. i had gestational diabetes with the last one and found out i had cervical dysplacia. since i was pregnant when dysplacia as found, they did a small biopsy and said id hafta wait til after pregnancy for further treatment. i have not been back since until yesterday. i've had heavy vaginal discharge that looks like mucous and has a strong odor for about a year now. during my pap yesterday, the doctor said that i had heavy bleeding and a cervical tear. she said that she could see an abnormal area at the mouth of the cervix. basically she said, she does not expect good results and we will need to plan a biopsy. i am very concerned because it has been so long since i followed up and im afraid that it has progressed to cancer. my doc said that since i smoke, it puts me at a greater risk. is the excessive bleeding during my pap a sign of cancer or just lesions that got irritated. what about the discharge? i am taking this okay because luckily i already have 2 children(boy and girl), but i always looked forward to having more in the future. my doc says that not only should i probably not get pregnant because of my problems i have while carrying, shes not even sure i can carry a baby with the cervical tear. would a cervical cerclage do the trick and if it is cancer, is a hysterectomy the best treatment?also im narcoleptic so im on adderal and sodium oxybate, would this effect treatment?thank you so much for any help and answers you may have.
