I had a uterine oblation 6 years ago, and have been period free since. Over the past six months, I have had pain in both of my ovaries, sharp pain, that comes and goes, when I stretch mostly, but lately, for no reason whatsoever. I can be just sitting or laying down and the pains come and go. Two days ago, I started a period, for the first time in 6 years. It is bright red, and I have full blown cramps with it, along with the pain in my ovaries. I made a doctors appt to get checked, but its not for 3 weeks. Should I be concerned? Should I go to emergency, or should I wait for my appt? What can this be? Please help, as I am scared. Thanks Kathy
