I would contact the person that prescribed the medication and tell them your symptoms. It sounds a bit like a kidney infection. Hope you are drinking tons of fluids, and cranberry juice. Perhaps you are being treated with the wrong antibiotic. The antibiotic needs to be specific for the organism found in the urine culture. If treated with something else, it doesn't work as well. So, checking with your provider is important. The chills and pain in you back concern me. Typical kidney infection symptoms. You should be feeling better after two days.
