UROGYNECOLOGY: Okay to take cranberry capsules and acidophilus tablets with antibiotics?

I have started taking Cipro for a UTI (surprise! not at all what I was there for). I started taking cranberry capsules and acidophilus tablets at the same time I started the antibiotics (though I do not take them at the same time as the antibiotic -- I try to space that out), but my mother says I shouldn't do that, that I should just let the antibiotics do their job. Does anyone know if there is any adverse effects of taking these with the antibiotic? I have not taken them today (only on day 2 of a 7-day course) and I will stop them if they are going to interfere with the antibiotic. I just need to know if it is a problem. Thanks so much!
