Hi, I have a problem. I have been on birth control pills for years (since I was 16 – I’m 29 now). I’m on Femcon FE (aka to be Ovcon) – I’ve been on them about a year and I have never gotten along great with them (IE spotting a couple of days before my period, developing Melasma). But the last few months have been smooth sailing. The last 2 months have been very strange for me – and I’m a little concerned. Normally my period is light, minimal bloating, no cramps, last month my period was very heavy and I had cramps, BAD bloating, a couple zits on my face – all the things I used to have when I was a teenager! Now this month I have a different issue. I have taken my pills every day and haven’t missed any, taken them all at the time of day etc. a little more than half way through the “active” pills I some cramping (right ovary pain) and a couple of days later I started my period – it’s not been 4-5 days and I still have it, I stop taking my active pills in 3 days!!! The I assumed I will “start” my period --- again? I feel normal other than this issue.. I’m a bit bloated but no more than normal. The only other thing I should mention is for some reason my sex drive has seemed to increase over the last couple of months. I still have the same husband haha (o: I have my gyno annual exam in November, but I was wondering if this should be something to be concerned enough with to go sooner?
