Hi Pat,

Thank you for your opinion, and it is much appreciated, but may I please ask if you are a Doc? I truly wanted a docs opinion. As for my anxiety, it is PTSD related being made worse by Peri insomnia caused by heightened dreams, and if many women or men could see a crime committed, and have a gun put to their own head and be told to "deal with the anxiety" I am sure we sufferers of this would. I never smoked in all my life before this event, and honestly, I am suffering less effects of Peri than my non smoking peri friends.

I agree with you in part about HRT and smoking, but I have read OB/GYN's on this forum say different to each other. My own doc says it is we that smoke that need it for a time. I am not condoning the smoking. I hate it, and it took a fair amount of pressure from an older woman to get me to take up smoking.

Kind Regards, Lucy
