GENERAL: Embarrassing Ovulation Concern

Since the birth of our first child in 2004 I have had a very strong urge to cheat on my husband every single time I have ovulated, and also terrible ovulation pain. I have never cheated, but I have come close many times. I really am not that type of person at all!

Back then I tried three different kinds of the contraceptive pill (microgynon, Yasmin, one other mini pill beginning with n) but I just became moody and depressed, and that didnt improve after a few months.

I have not had a period since September 2005 (bliss!) when I fell pregnant with our second child (planned, I knew exactly when I ovulated and fell pregnant that month), and he is now one year old and I am still breastfeeding; so when two weeks or so ago I got a huge urge to go off with other men again, accompanied by the most awfully strong mittelschmerz, I knew I was ovulating and I was right (I started my period today).

I had hope that having another child may stop this but the urge was even stronger than before! The pain was bad too, like the worst period pain ever but mainly on my abdomen. Is there anything that can be done for me? Locking myself indoors without internet access so I can have no male contact isn't really viable when I have two young children to entertain!
