CONTRACEPTION: birth control altitudeFrom: ally (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Jun 2007 11:49:53 -0500 (CDT)
My question is about birth control pills, othronuvum 777, in high altitude. I'm 37 and been on the pill for 2 years without any issue. I got a normal pap smear in AZ in April. I moved to Denver, CO while in the middle of a pack of pills and everything was normal. I had a normal period, however I just took my first pill and noticed some light brown blood when I wipe. I also have been having shortness of breath since moving to CO. I do not have any breathing issues in my history. Someone said altitude can affect breathing and also birth control and that I might have some spotting until my body adjust. Is this true?
