Hmmm....I would get more specifics here. If they SAW it, then they KNOW
where it is. It must NOT be in the uterus, and for some reason
perforated through. I would get much more informaton before going for
any kind of surgery. No, this is not AT ALL normal. The IUD shouldn't
be painful, and usualy resides right in the uterus. Ask for a secon
opinino if necessary, from a different practice. However, if the IUD
isn't where it should be, your initial gyn needs to cover the costs of
any expenses incurd rectifying the problem.
