MENORRHAGIA: Early period while on Birth Control? From: Jessica Smith (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 28 May 2007 11:26:20 -0500 (CDT)
I've been taking Ortho-TriCyclen for just over 2 years and have never had a problem (I'm always able to predict within a day when I'll expect my period). This past Wednesday, I noticed a slight reddish-brown discharge (no clotting) when I shouldn't be expecting my period for another week. The discharge isn't heavy, but similar to that of my period. Could this mean I'm pregnant? My fiance and I are very careful when having sex. I have been slightly stressed lately as we're getting married next month - could this be a reason, too? I believe in the midst of the stress I've missed about 3 pills (taken as soon as I realized I forgot). I appreciate anyone's input! thanks so much.
