Well, yes, the ARTIFICIAL birth control pill will REGULATE your cycles. It is a TEMPORARY solution, and the results will be short lived. Sometimes women do conceive once they go off of the pill.....Some feel it makes the PCOS worse in the long term, not better..

BUT with PCOS, the issue is a hormonal imbalance you’re your NATURAL hormones. So, the pill just prolongs getting your body back into its balance. Your best bet is to find A REPRODUCTIVE ENDOCRINOLOGIST who can advise you about the correct way to go. Research seems to support the use of Metformin to help get the insulin resistance back into balance, and many times women's cycles become regular again, and they more easiliy conceive, as they are ovulating.

Please research PCOS and its affect on fertility and current appropriate management. I am personally a supporter of birth control pills for PCOS, as they are a temporary fix. You need a healthier solution for your condition, especailly if you want to preserve your fertility and get pregnant.
