My LEEP results (I'm 55): CIN-3, severe squamous dysplasia: extends unoriented exocervical margin AND endocervical margin; correltation with operative findings will be necessary to assess adequacy of final endocervical margin" My OB is recommending hysterectomy and said, 'go get other opinions.' I'm hoping posts here will reassure me that hysterectomy is best option. My deeper cut was ok, but.....why does doctor recommend hysterectomy?
