Hi, this is my first time to this forum. I am 40 years old and have had awful pelvic pain for several months now...the pain being very low in my pelvis (like that feeling of having a watermelon dropping out of your cervix) I have had my Mirena removed, been hospitalized for IV treatments (assumptive diagnosis of endometritus), and had a laparoscopy to determine if i have endo (i don't, and i don't have any damage from PID). What i do have is a small 3 cm ovarian cyst that has been here for 3 months....could this be causing my pain??? ....my doctor couldn't get fluid from it during the lap (said it was a hemmoraghic corpus luteum cyst) and has suggested removing my ovary since I am still in pain. i also have some varicosities in my pelvis, but my docs don't think they are worse than anyone else who has had 3 kids) i got a second opinion and the doctor immediately dismissed the idea that this cyst could be causing my pain...it is so bad sometimes i lay in bed and cry...throbbing and dull and nauseating...not sharp....i have lost over 10 pounds from the pain and my belly is distended after i eat like i am 5 months pregnant....i am off pain meds now and my days are very slow and painful...i want my life back!!! (no exercise, sex, walks...since this started after christmas)...the docs seem puzzled...any ideas???? i would be so grateful for your feedback....should i have this ovary removed? has anyone had this kind of pain associated with a cyst? thank you so much for you help....
