Hi Stephanie. I didn't answer your question before because I don't have an answer for you. I guess my recommendation would be to have the Norplant removed, to ease your mind. It certaintly is possible it might still be preventing a pregnancy, but of course, difficult to tell. Have you been tracking your cycles, and determined if you are ovulating ? If you are ovulating, and having regular cycles, then I suspect that is important information for you. If you aren't having regular cycles, then I would be more suspicious. In any event, I would work towards having the Norplant removed. 13 years is a long time to have a foreign object in your arm. I am doubtful it is still working but can't say for certain. Pat

I would encourage very healthy eating, continuing with your exercise, and try to avoid starchy carbs, empty calories and any major sources of sugar.
Ultrasounds are not that clear about actual weight.  You wound like you are doing the best you can with all of the information you have. Be sure to not let yourself be over managed. Try to go into spontaneous labor so that your baby can be born when it is ready.
