UROGYNECOLOGY: prolapse

Hello there

I am 36 years old and have a seven month year old son - I have also a seven month old cystoceole and uterus prolapse (grade 3) which seems to be getting worse. I currently wear a ring pessary which does not seem to fit me well as it sits in a more vertical than horizontal position and it protrudes out of my vagina by about 1 cm - however whilst uncomfortable and not ideal it offers so much relief. I am at my wits end - I can't walk for very long without needing to urinate and my quality of life has plummeted. Physio and pelvic floor exercises do not seem to be helping. I have a few questions about my condition

1 - will this ill-fitting pessary make my condition worse by stretching areas that shouldn't be stretched

2 - do you have any experience with other varieties of pessaries that may have a better 'fit'

3 - all doctors I've seen up to now are trying to avoid me having surgery right now - but I'm feeling desperate and am tempted to demand it next time I see them - am I doing the right thing?

4 - If I didn't have surgery and fell pregnant - would I need to spend my entire pregnancy with complete bedrest to avoid everything falling out of me

5 - with surgery (after a period of healing), would I be able to resume an active life that would include tennis netball jogging (with no prolapse symptoms)

thankyou very much in advance for your feedback
