I am sorry it took me so long to reply to your message, I was so excited by what you suggested, I called my dr's to pose the question. But first I will answer you question. He asked me to let him know if I noticed the persistant cough and sneezing around my period time. When I informed him he said he wanted to do a test to see how much scare tissue was on my chest and said that even if he stopped my period it had not been proven to work.

I never thought to relay this problem to my allergist until your post. Which he agree's with you, but my GYN, has never heard of it. I told her that I also found two articles on it. But she decide that because I suffer from HTN she does not what to give me the pill she wants to give me the depo provera shot, she is worried about giving me estrogen and progestern (sp), so she said she wants to give me the progestren and monitor that. I am agaisnt this and so is my allergist. But I was told by one of the Nurses I work with she said she could give me the mini pill which is only progestern and doesn't have as many side effects. My allergist wants to know why she just can't give me the pill and monitor my blood pressure. So now I am stuck taking prednison which helps relieve my cough but causes me to gain weight quickly and per my allergist I can't say on it. So is there another answer....?

thank you very much for your help
