Whenever there are symptoms present such as yours, the doctor often
wants to do an endometrial biopsy. It screens for abnormal cells in the
endometrium, or lining of the uterus, which has become thick. It is a
precautionary procedure. It will likely be fine but you may be
perimenopausal.
