Short Period

I normally have irregular periods, but they usual always last 5-6 days. Well, I lost my virginity a little over a week ago and I got my period, but it only lasted 3 days. I have done research and found that an unusual short period or no period is a sign of pregnancy. Should I be worried? Is there any reason why it is so short this time? If you could please help...Thank you fo your time.
