I had a D&C done one week ago 8/21. I took amoxicillin and methergine after the surgery as the doctor instructed. On the third day after the operation, I started to have really bad cramps and light bleeding. The pain was so unbearable, that I called the Doctor at 2am, and he just told me to put some warm towel on my lower stomach and stop taking methergine. The cramps became lighter and less frequent until today. I kept on having cramps for an hour and bleed heavily, then a piece of tissue with clogged blood four inches long, one inch thick feel out of me. After that, the cramps stopped, and bleeding became lighter. I just want to know if these symptoms are normal, because my doctor only told me I will bleed for a few days and have some minor cramps. I planed to visit my doctor first thing on Tuesday, but really can use some advice before that, since I'm really worried whether some more tissue may have been left behind. thanks
