Thanks for any >advice about possible causes, etc. Dad, Stress can certainly affect us in a lot of ways. To determine the cause of your daughter's amenorrhea she should really see a physician. I am including some web sites that will give you a lot of information about amenorrhea, what causes it, treatment, etc. I have also included a web site that discusses a young woman's first gynecological visit. This will give you and mom a chance to look it over as you are deciding how to manage this situation. If you decide a gynecological exam is necessary then you might want your daughter to take a look at the site.
