Cervical Erosion/ abdominal painsFrom: Noirin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Jul 2003 07:59:33 -0500 (CDT)
I have recently been to see my doctor ( again ) and he has told me I have erosion on my cervix. He has refered me to a geonocoligist and taken swabs for analysis. I have been having abdominal cramping for as long as I can remember and have been on the pill for 7 years ( taking regular breaks), I am terrified of going off the pill as I take balack outs, panic attacks and severe cramping when I take a normal period. I was previously refered to a geonocologist and the found some slight infection, but still nothing to explain the pain. I have tried to explain that the pain is constant and is severely effecting sexual intercourse with my fiance. I am getting married in a few weeks and am now worried that if nothing is found soon, that my chances of having children will be effected. I am hoping someone can shed some light on what is wrong as im starting to feel like a freak show, with constant internal examinations. I have been diagnosed with several things in the past ( inflamed cervix, vaginal infections), but nothing seems to be getting to the root of the problem. Please help. N.D.
