i have a dropped bladder. i am 75 years of age. my gynecologist says it is a big operation and because of age it is harder on me. she suggested going to a urogynecologist and have a propper pessary put in. she did not have one that fit me. she also said it has to be cleaned out every so often . that turned me off. is there anything else to do, unless i had surgery.

i also hve another problem. i have a hiatus hernia , the type calledparaqsopheal a surgeion said i should be operated on because my stomach and part of my colon are up in my chest. i got the opinion of two gastro dr.s and they said, not to do. i do not have any symtoms, and since i feel good why make myselfr sick. they say its a chance i take either way. it may never rupture. whats your opinion?
