I agree with anonomous. We all have our own clocks. Mine started at 32, no one in my family, nor my mom's started that soon. My father's family, however, did. This is not too early anyway. The process of peri can take as long as 15 years. The average is three so don't panic. The average age of menopause and being done with periods is 51-53. If you subtract 10 to 15 years from that, we could all start at a different age and not even realize. The site I like best is http://www.earlymenopause.com It helped with symptoms, solutions, and knowing that some of what I was feeling[inc anxiety and palps] were normal. Best of luck.
