I'm very sorry to say that I have experienced that same situation. To be brutally honest, once the fetus has no heartbeat, it won't get it back.From my knowledge and experience, you had a miscarriage. The best way to know is monitor your hormone levels either by blood or by pregnancy tests. I'm very sorry about this. There is nothing you could have done to stop it and nothing you did to cause it.
