absent cycle/shortened vaginaFrom: ALBERT (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 22 Mar 2003 09:45:40 -0600
I'm a 22 year old that has never had a cycle. When I was about 15 years old I was taken to the Gyno. by mom because of that. While I was there the Gyno. told me that i had everything was fine the only thing was that I had a shortened vagina and would never be able to have children. That the only thing that I could do was have surgery so that I could have sex. I had tried in the past to have relations and could not it was very painful but up to about a month ago I started to have sex it was painful at first and had some bleeding. Do you think that maybe I can have children and there was a mistake just like the Gyno. telling me. I would never have sex normally until after surgery that I never had. My boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby and he does not know of my condition . HELP!!! What should I do? wondering in texas
