meaning?

I'm not sure I understand your meaning. I understand that a woman may menstrate but not ovulate. Are you suggesting that I have not ovulated these past two months and that is the reason for the sudden shift in menstral pattern? Do you suggest that I wait until mid cycle, based on my usual pattern of 28 days when secretions suggest ovulation and try an ovulation predictor kit for confirmation? I guess I am greatly concerned because my partner and I have been trying to concieve for the past 8-10 months and this shift has thrown me into a loop because I am not sure of my fertile days at the given moment or if I am fertile at all and I know I do sound urgent but I would like to know if a ovulation predictor kit can tell for sure.
