During my period, I noticed quite a few round, jelly like balls, dark red in color along with my period. Is this a blood clot, or could it be something serious, because I have been having pains in my ovaries, and my menstrual cycles are not regurlar anymore, and Iam 42yrs old, and I have never seen this before during my periods.

Can someone tell me what ths could be.
