Hi, I and another woman I know experienced low back pain and sciatica (leg) pain when we had moderate dysplasia. The cervix can swell enough to press on nerves in the area. (Sorry to say it took months to resolve.) I hope one of the doctors addresses your questions. I can understand why you are troubled. You don't want to be overtreated yet do not want to miss anything. What about a second opinion if you can't sort this out in a way that makes sense with your current doctor? He might be doing everthing right but someone communicated incorrectly to you at some point. I always got a copy of all my test results (the actual lab data) because I heard of the wrong results being quoted to women over the phone. I caught a nurse that did this to me. She told me I had SEVERE dysplasia but the lab results were only mild. She admitted her mistake to me when confronted. Check and double check everything before making decisions is my advice.

Good luck!
