Re: cervical scar tissue - reportFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 31 Jan 2003 04:54:02 -0600 (CST)
Gretchen, I was on the road you are on but I started taking a supplement you can read about at http://www.alotek.com and was able to stop being a lucrative but suffering chronic patient. My scar tissue symptoms, (I had the typical period problems but not total blockage as can happen), also resolved. I never had a problem with getting a sufficient PAP, though I did suffer through a painful ECC once. They are HORRIBLE when you have some stenosis. One way they remove scar tissue is with a LEEP, and that could cause further problems. Did your doctor disclose all these complications to you before your surgeries? Mine did not. And these treatments sure do not seem to be as effective as they are hyped to be, either! P.S. You may have to have the LEEP if your period gets totally blocked by scarring. That can be dangerous! Good luck, Jill
