Got u/s results in and have ?????From: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 30 Jan 2003 23:32:55 -0600 (CST)
Hi, First I want to say that I have been so grateful for the wealth of knowledge I gain from this board. I had a baby approx 1 year ago. I went for a 4 week PP check up and the pap came back abnormal because of "inflamation" my OB told me it was normal and just come back for a repeat pap in 6 months. I did that....well the Dr. didn't get enough tissue so came back non-conclusive. So they do an u/s........ Here's where my questions come in. Here is what the report stated. Uterus measures 8.8 x 4.6 x 7.5 cm. The endo. strip measures 1.0 cm. There is a small fibroid in the lower uterine segmant measuring 1 cm at it's greatest dimension. Multiple punctate calcifications are seen around the cervix. The right ovary contains a cyst with a single septation. Cyst mesures 2.3 cm in it's greatest dimension. Left ovary is normal. No free fluid is seen around the cul-de-sac. Multiple nabothian cysts are seen in the cervix. I have tried to do as much research I can before my appointment next month to a specialist, but it's not really going to well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
