Everything I have read has said that the anal cells are similar to the cervical cells and you are putting yourself at serious risk. I cannot find anyone to check my anal area after letting my husband years ago with previous CIN history. Now, I am scared I will get anal cancer one day and there is no treatment to prevent it. He might want to try it but it is not worth getting cancer over. I seriously wish I'd known. Hope this helps. marie
