HI, I am a student studying diagnostic medical sonography and right now our class is learning how to do pelvic scans. Well, I was recently scanned by a classmate, and my instructor (who is registered in OB/Gyn U/S) said that both my ovaries looked "funky". She thought it looked like I have endometriosis on both my ovaries, but was not sure. She asked if I have a Hx of this, but I do not. So my question is could it just be hemmorhagic cysts on my ovaries or endo like she thinks? Or could it be something more serious? I have been extremely tired for the past month, and I have gained 15 pounds in 3 weeks (no change in diet and I exercise on a regular basis). I also have bad back pain which has persisted for 2 weeks now. Could this be related to my ovaries or just symptoms of something else? Please help, I am so nervous thinking horrible things are wrong with me! Thank you in advance.
