Absolutely true! Hormonal fluctuations affect many tissues, including gum tissue and sinuses. The bleeding gums should clear up as your period ends though. On the other hand, periodontal disease is common too, so if you haven't been to the dentist recently, go for a check up to make sure you're not at the beginning stage of that. I'd see an allergist if OTC meds such as Claritin (used to be prescription) don't give you relief.
