Trying to get pregnant - yeast infectionFrom: Courtney (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 31 Dec 2002 16:45:01 -0600 (CST)
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I am currently on Cycle Day #8, and probably won't ovulate for another a week (typically ovulate after day 15). I discovered that I have a yeast infection yesterday. I picked up one of the 3-day treatment packs today - I have used them before effectively. My question is this - if I use the treatment, will it effect our chances of getting pregnant this month? The treatment will be done by Day 11 and it should be a few more days after that before I ovulate. I have read that having the yeast infection does not effect fertility, but that the chemicals in the treatment can. If I treat now, would it effect my fertility for next week?
